Anterior and Posterior corrections

In large deformities additional procedures need to be performed to create flexibility to correct the deformity. These can be by performing an Anterior release . This requires an additional operation through the chest or the abdomen.

The discs are removed at the apical levels. This provides the flexibility for correcting the deformity. In additional posterior ostoteomies allow additional release to permit a better correction of the deformity.
